Solar Tracker Technician

We believe in the talent and strength of our team, so that, in aim to keep growing together, we are looking for one SOLAR TRACKER TECHNICIAN as part of our O&M team with our Edenvale Solar Farm, Chinchilla QLD (4413). 

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Supervisor/Plant Manager, the SOLAR TRACKER TECHNICIAN will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities on Tracker Systems and will support the O&M Supervisors in site related tasks.

Main tasks:

• Perform Preventive Maintenance Activities on the Tracker System versions 3H and 2V;
• Perform Troubleshooting in Communication Devices (LoRa Network);
• Perform Troubleshooting in Dboxes, Tboxes, Mboxes;
• Download logs and records and provide Analysis of alarms;
• Communicate with Tracker System supplier to coordinate actions;
• Replacement of spare parts;
• Compliance with Site procedures, especially regarding HSE; and
• Maintain tools and equipment.

Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology (IT); 
• Previous knowledge and experience working with photovoltaic technologies, specifically Tracker Systems;
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills;
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
• High attention to detail;
• A high level of physical fitness; and
• Fluent oral and written skills in Spanish and English due to proprietary information of the Tracker Systems. 

The position is full time (38 hours).

Location is Chinchilla, QLD (4413)

Salary: AUD$ 90,000.00 plus superannuation plus LAFHA
