Solicitor Or Senior Associate - Leveraged Finance/Private Equity - Sydney

The Team

The firm’s Banking & Finance practice is ranked Band 1 globally and has been continuously nominated for awards by independent legal directories such as Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 (Asia Pacific). 

They leveraged finance team advise on a wide variety of acquisition financings through the lifecycle of transactions. These include public and private acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs and buy-ins, recapitalisations, restructurings and exits. They work with high profile clients as well as Australian and international banks and other financial institutions.

The Role

Due to growth in the team, they are looking to add a Solicitor or Senior Associate. You will work with a renowned partner who has huge experience and focuses mainly on private equity financing matters.

This role will see you work on providing expert legal counsel on financing M&A deals, event-driven transactions, and corporate restructurings.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a solicitor(minimum 2 years experience) up to a mid-level Senior Associate. Ideally, you will have leveraged finance experience if you are at SA level however, they are open to junior candidates with little experience in leveraged finance.
