ABOUT THE ROLE
The key responsibilities include:
✱ Plaintiff Personal Injury Law (Motor Vehicle Accident Claims and Workers Compensation)
✱ Public Liability and Criminal Injury Compensation Claims
✱ Liaising with clients
✱ Managing high volumes of files
✱ Attending court and settlements
✱ Conducting comprehensive legal research
✱ Preparation of legal documentation
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties. You will be expected to perform different tasks to meet the organisation’s overall objectives.
ABOUT YOU:
Ideal Skills
Have:
» 3-4 years post admission experience
» Proven experience in Personal Injury law
» Initiative and the ability to work independently through legal processes and have experience settling matters as an "Unrestricted Practitioner"
» Experience and skill using Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
» A strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines
» Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organisation skills
» Strong work ethic
» A service mindset
» Resilience and the ability to remain calm
» A self-motivated and dedicated approach to work
» An appetite for learning and ambition to take on complex cases
Ability to:
» Handle confidential information in a professional manner
» Build and maintain client relationships
» Be client focussed
» Communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders
» Demonstrate initiative and flexibility to deliver on client demands
» Work both autonomously and in a team environments
