Form of workWe have a unique opportunity for an experienced Solicitor or Senior Associate to work with Hayley Neilson, Partner, in our market leading leveraged and acquisition finance team in Sydney.
Hayley is the Co-Head of the Private Equity practice and Head of the National Leveraged Finance practice. She is a finance partner in our Sydney firm and specialises in leveraged and acquisition finance, corporate finance and corporate restructuring.
The Opportunity:
In this role, you will work with Hayley and the team to advise clients on complex leveraged and acquisition finance transactions. You will provide expert legal counsel on financing M&A deals, event-driven transactions, and corporate restructurings. You will maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client service. In addition to exposure to high quality work, this role offers excellent training and career development opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrable experience in delivering technical advice in connection with a range of leveraged and acquisition finance matters from a top tier, national or international private practice environment.
Been admitted to practice in either Australia or New Zealand.
An excellent academic record coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset.
A proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team.
An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously.
Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team.
