FCS Concrete Repairs is a Remedial Building company specialising in concrete remediation, crack injection, protective coatings, concrete polishing, waterproofing and leak sealing, and structural strengthening. This is a diverse list of services which can be utilised to resolve many problems associated with asset protection and remediation. This applies to all sectors from large residential to commercial and industrial buildings, to public sewerage, water and drainage infrastructure, to bridges, roads and rail, to water storage reservoirs and dams, to general marine and coastal infrastructure.
We are seeking an experienced Solid Plasterer to join our team on a full-time basis. The position is to be responsible for all aspects of plastering, including, installing plaster wall partitions; ceilings and smoothing surfaces or fixtures on buildings for our clients.
Your daily responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Install insulating, fireproofing and acoustic materials and finish by binding them with plaster materials
- Measuring and cutting plasterboards for pre installations
- To apply fillings, varnishes, stains, vinyl and to walls and structures
- Selecting and preparing adhesive mixtures
- Lifting and positioning panels and securing them walls and ceilings
- Preparing corner fittings such as measuring and cutting
- Applying coatings of plaster and cement to exterior and interior structure
- To complete other duties according to blueprints, architect's drawings, or oral instructions, using hand tools and portable power tools
- Installing fireproofing materials such as plaster, plastic cement and others
- Mixing and applying plaster coats and render structure fittings, using plastering devices such as trowels, also patch plaster breaks and cracks
- Compliance with OH&S guidelines
- Relevant Qualifications;
- Minimum 2 years’ of relevant work experience
- Construction Induction Training Card (White Card)
- Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities.
