JOB SUMMARY
To oversee the operation, utilization, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of NOV FluidControl equipment on either onshore or offshore locations. This is a rotational rig based or worksite position. The position holder maintains a close working relationship with all managers and supervisors within the NOV FluidControl organization. The position holder must also provide "hands-on" support to all departments and actively promote client interface, adherence to NOV policies and procedures and service quality.
Fully Accountable for the performance of all NOV FluidControl rental equipment as well as personnel on location
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operation and maintenance of the following NOV Brandt Solids Control equipment: Cuttings transfer Systems,
- Centrifuges,
- Cuttings Dryers,
- Centrifugal and Positive displacement Pumps,
- Dewatering Systems,
- Filtration Equipment,
- Electronic control packages,
- Screw conveyors (augers),
- Cuttings skips and skip filling activities,
- Mud Coolers,
- Vacuums and other clean up equipment,
- Ensures highest standards of HSE,
- Perform Operations in a manner that assists the organization in meeting our safety, operational, and sales goals,
- Encourage the use of our equipment daily to maximize personnel and equipment utilization,
- Use of retort testing equipment for analysis and reporting on solid and fluid waste streams,
- Manage Inventory of equipment, spares, tools and all other NOV FluidControl supplied items on the location and coordinate this inventory with the logistical team in Australia,
- Ensure service quality is continually enhanced. Set a high standard in Safety, Operations, Maintenance and Repair, and efficient use of resources to ensure that the customer is satisfied with the value that our equipment and people bring to their operation.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Certificate
- Passing grade accepted for other accredited English Language learning systems
JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Up to 5 years’ field experience in Solids Control and drilling waste management
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain all NOV FluidControl equipment
- assigned to your care,
- Ability to investigate and determine the cause of fault with mechanical
- problems,
- Ability to investigate and determine the cause of fault with electrical problems.
- Proven Industry Experience,
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, Project, Outlook, AutoCAD,
- Able to work on own initiative with little supervision,
- Be self-motivated and a strong team player,
- Possess good English language communication and interpersonal skills,
- Produce accurate work of consistent high quality and quantity,
- Ability to determine NOV FluidControl products as well as their purpose,
- Ability to read, understand and discuss mud reports and to understand the
- impact that NOV FluidControl equipment and services will have on the fluid,
- Ability to understand and discuss operational issues with regards to NOV,
- FluidControl equipment and the customer's fluids,
- Completion of secondary level education relevant to home country
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook must be demonstrated,
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Mechanical or electrical service trained
- Sound knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook and Insphire (or other)
- Excellent communication skills in the following areas:
