The Ampcontrol group is embarking on a significant digital transformation. The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in designing solutions that improve the employee experience.
Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, you will collaborate with senior management, business stakeholders, and digital teams to develop and implement solution designs that support business growth and innovation, enhancing employee satisfaction and productivity.
The clients head office is in the Newcastle area so there is some need travel to the office but will offer hybrid work from options as well along with the opportunity to work in a North Sydney office in the future.
About You
You’ve got a broad understanding of Solution Architecture, with a focus on ERP/CRM and/or payroll solutions. You’ll have demonstrated expertise in leading enterprise solution design in the domains of Business, Data, Applications, Infrastructure, Security, and Integration.
You can demonstrate hands-on experience with designing, documenting, and maintaining architecture landscapes, including current state, future state, and transition plans, in alignment with business goals and objectives, balancing short-term needs with longer-term thinking.
Your Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Solution Architecture roles, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and integrated with existing systems.
- Experience designing & leading integration strategies and frameworks that align with business objectives and IT standards, of various enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HCM, SCM).
- Experience designing end-to-end solutions that align with business goals and improve employee experience and interactions with technology.
- Develop and implement APIs, middleware, and data pipelines to facilitate system communication, ensuring data consistency and integrity across integrated systems.
- Experience with the Microsoft ecosystem (ERP/CRM) is desirable.
- You stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in enterprise integration.

This position will be based in beautiful Newcastle and The Hunter Valley and a Hybrid working arrangement 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.
