About the Role

As a Solution Architect supporting our Digital Transformation Program and BAU teams, you will work in a team of Solution Architects working closely with the Architecture Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to provide key design and technical support to our delivery teams, ensuring alignment with our Digital Transformation Program vision and business strategy. You will be instrumental in building scalable, performant, and future-proofed solutions to meet customer needs. We are looking for expertise in modern architectural patterns, roadmap development, and strong collaborative skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed designs to achieve business objectives.
• Tailor presentations for diverse stakeholders to effectively convey designs.
• Lead Solution Architecture development within specific domains.
• Ensure use of appropriate tools and methods in architecture development.
• Translate high-level requirements into ROM documents.
• Stay informed about new technologies for business improvement.
• Prototype and evaluate alternative solutions.
• Support project managers and product owners across project delivery phases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align with business and technology strategies.
• Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Design cloud and on-premises solutions in line with HAMBS architecture standards and target state vision.
• Contribute to the architecture repository, standards and processes.
• Participate in architecture governance meetings and assist the broader organisation with architecture alignment and guidance.
• Provide key technical support to our development teams including uplifting detailed design skillsets.

About You

• 5+ years’ Solution Architect experience in complex technology environments.
• Broad business knowledge with industry insight.
• Deep understanding of emerging technologies' business implications.
• Proficient in modern architecture patterns and software development standards.
• Skilled in integration architecture design and development.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to articulate messages effectively to diverse audiences.
• Strong relationship building and influencing abilities.
• Adaptable and collaborative team player.
• Business savvy with analytical skills for technical translation.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and Agile methodologies.

Desirable:

• Proficiency in leveraging Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of building multi-cloud architectures.
• Experience with Microsoft APIM and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
