Position Title: Solution Architect

Location: South Australia

Contract Length: Initial 6 months.

Reporting to: Project Manager LPMA

Supervises: None – however will lead all the functional consultants

The Solution Architect will collaborate with NTT DATA Business Solutions AG, LPMA IT, and the business stakeholders to optimize solutions, particularly leveraging SAP S/4HANA as the digital core and exploring innovation and extensibility across the SAP product suite, including RISE with SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP BTP, and other modern technologies. They will lead the design and implementation of solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and quality outcomes for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design business solutions aligned with customers' business strategy and technology landscape.
• Design solutions following architecture methodologies and standards, identifying necessary components and integrations.
• Provide input for project Quality Assurance, technical assistance, and troubleshooting, incorporating lessons learned into future projects.
• Collaborate with customers to identify continuous improvement opportunities and address business requirements through SAP modules, enhancements, or upgrades.
• Offer expert advice on SAP systems and applications, guiding business decision workshops and presentations.
• Build strong customer relationships, serving as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for solutions.
• Lead and guide a team of SAP consultants to deliver key project outcomes and maintain solution integrity.

Leadership:

• Continuously expand knowledge beyond core capabilities and drive thought leadership in technical/functional domains.
• Lead by example, providing guidance to others and advocating for the business's values.
• Encourage continuous learning and knowledge sharing internally and externally.

Critical Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in Solution Architecture, Governance, and Strategy.
• Extensive (10+ years) SAP ERP experience with a deep understanding of S/4 modules and relevant industry expertise.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA on-premise and cloud deployments, as well as other cloud platforms like S/4 Public Cloud & SAP BTP.
• Experience in crafting Digital Transformation journeys with customers.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging and understanding customer requirements.
• Ability to articulate the benefits of the latest technologies, such as S/4HANA, BTP, and Signavio.
• Strong strategic thinking to ensure solutions are integrated, scalable, and aligned with future business needs.
• Track record of delivering SAP and SAP-aligned products across multiple project phases.
• Skilled in building effective relationships and collaborating with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to engage both technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills as a senior team member.
