Solution Designer

About your new role
As a Solution Designer you will provide expert advice on solution design best practices and lead technical designs in adherence to reference solution and enterprise architecture guiding principles. You will develop detailed designs and system specifications for implementation aligned with solution architecture and consistent with industry and City’s enterprise standards.
As part of this role, you will need to autonomously deliver smaller technical projects and be responsible for managing the planning, design, build and implementation of the project to align to the business needs of the organisation.
We're looking for people who have:
Most importantly, you will have experience in a similar Solution Designer position and the willingness to continue learning new skills and technologies. You will have strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Your ability to play a role in a cross-functional team will allow you to collaborate and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
To succeed in the role, ideally you will have:
- Bachelor Degree of Business Management/Information Technology or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Diploma in Project Management or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience.
