About the role
Working with a large government department you will complement the design, development and analysis team who work with a variety of specialised and national security systems.
These systems provide computational and data systems to increase the speed of capability development, optimise equipment design, operational performance and solve contemporary and projected problems within the department.
Key responsibilities
- Works collaboratively to define, develop, test, document and implement the approved system design to ensure compliance with the Information Security Manual, Protective Security Policy Framework.
- Provide expert advice and services relating to solution architecture, system design and identity management
- Provide advice to the Capability Design Board and is an integral member of the Capability Platform Development team.
- Provide knowledge transfer through on-the-job skills training and mentoring to the Commonwealth staff, as well as assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and processes.
Key requirements
- Experience with Identity Management system design, and development.
- High level and low level programming languages eg Perl, Python, C, C++.
- Capable of working independently to achieve outcomes.
- Ability to collaborate within the team and with external stakeholders to achieve System Accreditation for various systems.
