SalaryPeoplebank is exclusively recruiting an Application Solution Architect for a global organisation whose products are sold in more than 170 countries and whose brand is one of the world's most dynamic and recognised. This is an opportunity to work with a truly amazing household name.
Head office in Europe set guidelines for global technology standards, whilst individual regions and countries develop technology ecosystems to meet the unique needs of their market. Woking in the Asia Region Technology team who report into the global IT team in Europe, the solution architect is being hired to map the applications for one of their country's businesses, and design solutions which will provide better tools for their business whilst meeting company guidelines. This countries operation has 250 staff.
With the key aim of better enabling operations for this country and their needs, you will also take global company standards into account, as well as ideally creating solutions and tools which can be adopted to support other country operations in the region.
Key Requirements
- Working in a SaaS or FMCG business developing solution design of enterprise systems, with a strong focus on process automation and improving workflows both internally and externally
- You must be able to regularly attend the Inner Southern Sydney Offices in order to learn and collaborate as part of the Asia Region Technical Team.
- Asia region experience is highly desirable. This role would be perfect for someone looking to step up into a regional role. You must however, bring a world view with high cultural awareness. Most importantly you will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bring different audiences on the solution change journey.
- Technical expertise - You will likely have expertise in frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman to guide the systematic planning, design, and implementation of solution architecture.
- Whilst you will have total autonomy in owning and managing your role, you will need to be available to regularly communicate with European headquarters and the US.
- To collaborate with other regions and learn from their application architecture journeys, you will need to travel around 5-6 times per year. This will be within Asia, as well as to Europe and the US.
