About the role
The Solution Architect reports directly to the Program Director - Transition. The role will lead the development of solution architectures in the infrastructure, application and integration areas across the Hume member health services.
This role will undertake review, impact analysis and provide advice on the technical design aspects of solution development and integration of multiple systems. The Solution Architect will ensure that relevant technologies, policies, standards and practices (including security) are applied correctly and effectively.
The Solution Architect will establish the governance, framework, policy and strategy for the selection of systems architecture components, and co-ordinates design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency in the ICT environment across the health services in the Hume region.
We are looking for:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or certification in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Experience in ICT infrastructure, end user IT environment, IT support, service delivery and systems with further experience of 5+ years in implementation of multi-agency technical projects.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with enterprise solutions such as telephony, user management, desktop services and other systems would be an advantage
- Experience with cloud & SaaS based architectures and understanding of such ecosystems
