Keystone Radiology is a modern, independently owned imaging service with engaged team orientated radiologists, dedicated to providing an outstanding service to the people of Ballarat, Bendigo and surrounding communities.
**Roles available in either Ballarat or Bendigo**
Our carefully designed departments have been built for patient, referrer and staff satisfaction alike, and boast the latest equipment 2 DR, 3T MRI, and 1.5T MRI, 7 Ultrasound suites, Dexa, OPG, interventional radiology, and low dose CT.
Tasks & Duties
- Perform high quality ultrasound scans in a range of examinations, while ensuring patient welfare, privacy and security are maintained.
- The ability to communicate effectively with patients, radiologists and reception staff.
- Active participation in educational activities; contributing to and maintaining current procedures and protocols.
- Provide assistance to junior staff and students as needed.
- Report to the Chief Sonographer.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a strong background in General Ultrasound, and sub specialty experience in musculoskeletal, vascular and/or obstetric US would be advantageous. Upskilling can be provided as we are passionate about sonographer education. Dual training in echocardiography would be highly regarded. Current accreditation with the ASAR is mandatory.
