- 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Work on commercial engagements to jointly define requirements, integrate business strategy, negotiate solutions and contribute to the delivery of sustainable performance outcomes for our business across the contracting lifecycle
Act as primary commercial interface for products and services being procured from our supply base, stay abreast of market trends and become a trusted advisor for your area of expertise
Leverage advanced data analysis techniques to identify value improvement opportunities, formulate hypotheses and use procurement tools to drive execution of value pipeline across multi-year horizon
Apply best practice sourcing and contract management techniques to enable our business to capture value and unlock performance outcomes collaboratively with our suppliers
Work closely with business stakeholders to cultivate opportunities to advance ANZ's competitive advantage in driving value through financial impact, ESG outcomes, digitalisation, sustainable operational performance, supplier collaboration as well as optimised risk management
Provide guidance to stakeholders who interact with our buying channels to improve decision making, spend/risk control and speed to value in line with our policies
Continuously developing our category capabilities and improving our processes.
What will you bring?
Outstanding commercial acumen, ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and work across teams and coach others to achieve outcomes
Strong technical aptitude, with some understanding of digital solutions in a financial services context
Demonstrated ability to manage commercial planning for category of spend, cultivate stakeholder relationships and provide meaningful hypothesis-driven insights to teams
Solid understanding of category management principles such as multi-country sourcing, supplier collaboration, deal economics, risk management, design to cost, value creation across supplier lifecycle and project delivery.
Procurement or consulting experience within a fast-paced, corporate environment, leveraging your ability to apply structured commercial problem-solving approach and prioritise what matters
Understanding of supply market dynamics, third party risk and regulatory requirements, external leading practice, market trends relevant to spend areas
Prior experience in a Technology Professional Services or related category would be beneficial.
