Position: Sous Chef
Location: Panania Diggers Club
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Contribute creative ideas for menu development and daily specials, keeping abreast of culinary trends and member preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold our commitment to excellence in food quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage inventory, control costs, and optimize kitchen efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Passion for culinary excellence and innovation.
