About the role:
Assist the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team, oversee the kitchen operations, menu development & financials whilst ensuring a positive work culture.

Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role in a high-quality restaurant with a focus on Asian cuisine.
- Expertise in Asian cooking techniques, flavours, and ingredients including sashimi and sushi preparation.
- Creative and innovative approach to menu development and food presentation using traditional and modern cooking techniques.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Adaptable to change.
- Exposure to financial budgets, food and labour costs.
- Understanding of stock control & ordering processes.
- Able and willing to work shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
