Job Purpose: We are seeking a dedicated Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our team in South Australia. This position will be based primarily in Renmark, with regular travel to our workshops in Mount Barker and Keith. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, manage workshop operations, and ensure compliance with safety and accreditation standards. As we have offices in Mount Barker and Renmark, we have chosen to widen the applicant pool and advertise in both locations. There is only one position available. The successful applicant will be required to work out of one of these depots so the applicant must live in either the Mount Barker or Riverland Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage vehicle Fleet Maintenance and mechanics in South Australia
- Oversee operations of all South Australian workshops, internal and external
- Liaise with management to schedule maintenance and ensure compliance
- Monitor expenditures to prevent wastage and ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety
- Be the first point of contact for South Australian staff regarding maintenance queries
- Manage all SA workshops when leading hands are on leave
- Communicate decisions regarding vehicle replacements to the SA State Manager and Operations Administrators in each depot
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Competent computer skills
- Knowledge of industry-specific processing systems
- Current Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence
- Trade qualifications in mechanical repair
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of maintenance requirements by the company and manufacturers
