Position Summary :
The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our spa facility, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and efficient business practices. With a strong background in spa management, the Spa Manager will lead and motivate a team of spa professionals, including therapists and support staff, to deliver high-quality services. The Spa Manager will be adept at implementing effective marketing strategies in conjunction with Head Office to promote spa services, managing schedules, and optimising overall spa efficiency. Responsibilities include staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation, maintaining spa cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards, and collaborating with our Head Office and other spas for seamless organisational operations. The Spa Manager should possess excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, along with an eye for budgeting and setting targets while demonstrating a commitment to upholding Stephanies reputation for excellence in customer service.
Key Requirements :
- Previous experience in the spa industry is essential
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a spa setting, including practical experience in customer service, spa operations, and staff management
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role is essential
- Proficiency in using spa management software and computer systems
- Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and industry trends
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in the spa industry

Leadership and Vision
- Develop and articulate the vision for the spa, aligning it with the overall organisational goals
- Lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse team of spa professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Provide guidance on performance expectations, professional development, and career progression for spa staff
Planning and Strategy
- Collaborate with Leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve spa targets and enhance overall business performance
- Plan and optimise daily spa operations to ensure efficiency and a seamless customer experience
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, assess competition, and capitalise on growth opportunities
Human Resources
- Oversee all aspects of human resources, from recruitment and onboarding to training, performance management and team meetings
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, emphasising teamwork, communication, and employee well-being
Communication, Organisation, and Time Management
- Facilitate clear and open communication channels among spa staff, promoting transparency and teamwork
- Ensure effective coordination of schedules, appointments, and daily operations to optimise resource utilisation
- Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently
Service
- Uphold and enhance the spa's reputation for delivering exceptional and personalised services
- Implement and enforce quality assurance measures to maintain high standards in spa treatments and customer experiences
- Regularly gather customer feedback and implement improvements based on insights and trends
Reporting and Administration
- Develop and maintain accurate records of spa operations, including client databases, financial transactions, and inventory
- Generate and analyse weekly/monthly reports on key performance indicators, financial metrics, and customer feedback
- Analyse and interpret data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights
Financial & Inventory
- Develop and manage the spa budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and revenue growth
- Monitor financial performance against set targets and implement adjustments as needed
- Implement pricing strategies and packages to maximise profitability while remaining competitive
Stock Management
- Have a solid understanding of the spas inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels of products and supplies to meet operational needs
- Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimise wastage and losses
- Coordinate with CFO to secure timely deliveries and manage costs effectively
Spa Operations
- Managing daily spa operations, schedules, and appointments
- Provide spa treatments as required
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in the spa environment
