Spare Parts Interpreter/Store Person

Overall Purpose & Responsibilities of the Position:

To source and provide Spare Parts to support our Workshop and Field service technician teams. To procure parts that are cost effective, and available when required. Ensure all data and information is recorded promptly and accurately in our Business systems.

1. Stock inventory
2. Identify and source Spare Parts as required.
3. Sourcing parts from suppliers and issuing purchase orders.
4. Stock control
5. Stock takes
6. Store logistics inbound & outbound
7. Control consumables  including sourcing & stock quantity control
8. Management of store area
9. This role is an integral part of our internal operations, providing internal Spare Parts support along with developing new customer base
10. Manage returns for credits, core returns, and warranty claims for any defective parts

Store/Warehouse Performance 

• Store/Warehouse order & cleanliness
• Have an awareness of the upcoming work schedule, and work with delivery team to identify parts requirements.
• Receiving goods, and locating in the correct stores locations.
• Assist customers internal & external as and when required
• Respond to all Spare Parts enquiries same day or as requested 
• Manage stock control all products, Min and Max levels
• Ensure accurate DATA entry of parts & stock, part numbers & descriptions in RMB software package “AMWIN”

Inventory Stock Control

• All stock to be stored securely & in order
• Any stock damage in transit, missing items must be recorded and advised to the supplier with documented proof including photos & details of damage in a timely manner, in line with supplier requirements
• Manage & maintain consumable holdings to ensure value for money & adequate levels are kept at all times
• Stock must be booked in accurately according to what is received
• Stock take as & when directed by RMB management

Freight & Logistics for Stock Inbound & Outbound

• Co-ordinate with freight logistics companies for cost effective, timely transportation methods, including negotiate with freight companies for best value for money with timely delivery service in line with our expectations

Debtor Control

• COD customers to be transacted correctly
• No release of parts to any customer exceeding their credit limit unless by authorisation with RMB management

OH & S

• Maintain compliance with OH & S requirements & Industry Best Standards
• Address any non-compliance with immediate action
• Report any incidences of non-compliance to relevant manager

Qualifications / Education / Training / Professional Memberships:

• Forklift Licence (preferred)
• Light Vehicle Licence (essential)
