The ACE Programme is seeking a passionate and motivated Early Childhood Teacher or special needs teacher to join our transdisciplinary team of educators, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, positive behavioural support practitioners and therapy assistants. You will provide specialist and quality early intervention support to Autistic children.
About Autism Connect Early (ACE)
The ACE Programme offers Early Childhood Intervention to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who are experiencing developmental delay. The ACE programme has been developed by Ashton’s Place, a not for profit organisation that aims to provide Early Childhood Support to children within the childcare and kindergarten environment.
The Autism Connect Early (ACE) Programme is a transdisciplinary early intervention program within a long daycare centre for autistic children aged 3-6. Running alongside the mainstream Kindergarten Programme, the ACE Programme follows an Autism specific curriculum in a 1:2 -1:4 teacher student teaching ratio. The Programme aims to promote skill development via social connection and relationships, meaningful participation and individualised intervention plans.
