Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a play-based curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
- Work alongside an experienced Group Leader in the Pre-Kindy room.
- Collaborate with a supportive Centre Manager and the broader team.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a sense of community within the centre.
- Conduct observations and assessments to track children's progress and tailor teaching strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification.
- Current Teacher's Registration (Queensland).
- Strong understanding and application of the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Part-time: 5 days a week, minimum of 3 hours a day (option for longer hours)
- Pre-Kindy room.
