About the Role
We have received funding for a Specialist Children's Family and Domestic Violence position as part of the Multi-agency Investigation Support Team (MIST) based at Parkerville’s Stan and Jean Perron Child, Youth and Family Centre in Midland.
This specialised team is a partnership between the WAPOL Child Abuse Squad and Parkerville’s Therapeutic Specialist Team, which supports children, young people, and their families impacted by child sexual abuse.
If you would be keen to join us, we are now seeking a passionate and committed professional to join our team who can:
- Provide specialist therapeutic interventions for children, young people and their families impacted by Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) as part of the multi-disciplinary team investigating allegations of Child Sexual Abuse.
- Provide systemic family interventions informed by FDV specialist knowledge to children, young people and their families who have been impacted by Family and Domestic Violence /child sexual abuse and other childhood trauma ·
- Provide trauma-informed and child-inclusive therapeutic interventions with a focus on systemic family work and FDV interventions ·
- Use advanced skills and knowledge to provide case consultation and expert advice on Family and Domestic Violence to the MIST multi-discipline team.

This exciting opportunity to make a difference is funded for a 2 year-fixed term period however Parkerville will be exploring opportunities for ongoing funding.
