We are looking for a part-time receptionist for our busy Specialist Centre that provides services in Psychiatry, Psychology and Paediatrics.
Our friendly, family-focused and fast paced practice is looking for someone who works well in a small team. The applicant must be discreet and empathetic to patient needs. They must be diligent, use initiative and have excellent communication skills.
We would expect a candidate to be well presented, reliable, punctual and have a positive attitude towards work.
Ideally, the applicant would have previous medical reception experience and be proficient in medical computer software. Knowledge of Halaxy medical software would be a great advantage.
Past experience working in the mental health sector would be favourable.
This position would be responsible for a variety of duties, including among others:
- Answering telephones, welcoming patients, booking appointments, taking payments and processing Medicare claims.
- Processing new referrals, scanning and general administrative duties.
- Providing support to the Clinicians and Practice Manager as required.
The applicant must be available to work on Mondays and Tuesdays (flexible working hours on those days may be considered). Immediate start available.
Working from home options are not available.
