SalarySouth West Healthcare (SWH) has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Nephrologist to join our general medical team, based at the Warrnambool campus. This will be in close cooperation with other Warrnambool based Nephrologists and General Medicine Physicians.
The Specialist Nephrologist has a primary focus on the provision of renal clinical services and there is also the opportunity to provide general medicine outpatient and inpatient services. The successful applicant will work in a multidisciplinary clinical environment with a team of nursing and medical staff, including Advanced and Basic Physician Trainees in General Medicine.
What you bring
The successful applicant will be a registered medical practitioner with AHPRA. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) with specialist recognition and an interest or dual fellowship in Acute General Medicine are essential for this position. Willingness to participate in relevant college education programs and demonstrated experience in teaching junior medical staff and medical students are required.
