Due to the continued growth of the Company across all regions in Australia we are looking for an experienced Specialist Project Technician to join our workforce based in Perth for upcoming local and FIFO opportunities on a full-time position.
Required Qualifications and Tickets
- Current Working at Heights (WAH) obtained in the last 2 years
- Current Confined Space (CSE) obtained in the last 2 years
- Breathing Apparatus (BA), desirable
- Gas Test Atmosphere (GTA), desirable
- Current Drivers Licence
- White or Blue Construction Card
- High Risk work licence - LF, EWP advantageous
- MSMSS00004 Operate a High-Pressure Water Jetting System (Obtained in the last 2 years), desirable
- HC, HR Licence
- 2 years experience working on shutdowns, preventative maintenance and projects within the Oil & Gas or other heavy-duty industry:
o setting operating controls on equipment
o checking equipment for malfunctions and arranging maintenance
- Experience with Chemical Cleaning, Vacuum Truck Operations, High Pressure Water operation, Tank Cleaning or Catalyst Handling would be highly advantageous
- Rigger, Dogman and Mechanical TA experience will be advantageous
- These positions are labour intensive therefore a high level of physical fitness is required.
- Ability to work with strict deadlines and timeframes
- Ability to work shift work (Day / Night and Weekends)
- Ability to work within a team environment while capable of working unsupervised
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
