About You
We are currently seeking applications from motivated Specialist Remedial Painters for our Asset Remedial division for a continuous run of work on sites throughout the Perth Metro area. Preferably applicants will have protective coatings, concrete repair and plastering experience. To be considered for this position candidates will need to be reliable with a positive working attitude and able to deliver a high quality of workmanship. Candidates will also need to be well presented and have a high awareness of health and safety at all times.
Responsibilities
• Preparation of work areas.
• Assisting in the installation and application of remediation products.
• Cleaning work areas and job sites.
• Actively contribute to toolbox meetings and pre-starts.
• Identify, report and rectify hazards.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role – Desirable.
• Experience in protective coatings, waterproofing and concrete repair – Definite advantage.
• Experience in plastering/rendering – Definite advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in worksite labouring duties.
• Must be able to perform manual tasks.
• Operate power tools safely.
• Work in a safe and timely manner to deliver projects.
• Proactive, good timekeeping and reliable.
• Able to pass a pre-employment D&A test.
