Position: Speech PathologistLocation: Fairfield NSW, Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to clients' needs and goals.
- Provide evidence-based interventions to improve communication and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and caregivers, to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on speech and language strategies for home practice and integration into daily life.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with professional standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations and across various settings (e.g., pediatric, adult, rehabilitation).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to continuing education and staying abreast of best practices in the field.
