About Us
Hide and Speech is a paediatric allied health practice that provides intervention and assessment to children and adolescents with developmental delays and Autism Spectrum Disorder. With our rapidly growing caseload, we are looking to expand our practice to include another Speech Pathologist. Most of our sessions are conducted at the clinic; however, we provide kindergarten and school services if requested. 
 
The Role:
We are looking for a paediatric Speech Pathologist, part time or full time, however, this is negotiable. This will be an ongoing permanent role with the flexibility to adjust your hours so that they work for you. Your role includes conducting assessment and intervention on children who present with a developmental delay and Autism Spectrum Disorder. 
 
Tasks:
Meeting with parents or caregivers to conduct initial consultations.
Liaising with parents or caregivers to establish family-centred goals.
Liaising with other members of the multidisciplinary team who are involved in the child’s care.
Designing intervention plans to support children in achieving their goals.
Providing therapy support at the clinic or in the child’s natural environment.
Conducting standardised assessments.
Ensuring written reports, paperwork and progress notes are completed accurately and timely.

Requirements:
Registration with SPA
Working with Children Check
National Police Check
Own professional insurance and indemnity cover
Understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delay
Knowledge of NDIS
