ABOUT US
Kids Therapy Hub offers exceptional allied health services to the local community. We incorporate Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy within a friendly and collaborative environment. Our clinic is based in Gledswood Hills NSW. Our aim is to assist people with a disability to identify support that really matters most to them. Our team of Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists provide support to children and youth aged 1-18 years who may have delays with their communication and development, including speech, language, feeding and social skills.
We work hard to help support children and their families, but we also enjoy a few laughs along the way. We focus on having a great team culture with plenty of activities like team building event, social events, clinic celebrations and a workplace that is inclusive and caring.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties will include (dependent on experience):
Senior roles - provide mentoring and clinical supervision as required to junior colleagues and students to support the team.
Implementation of informal and standardised assessments for communication, speech, language, voice, fluency and swallowing as required for clients with a wide range of disabilities and impairments.
The provision of best practice speech pathology assessment and interventions for referred clients.
Development and implementation of programs, strategies and materials to enable clients to achieve goals as set by their referral.
Liaise with families, specialist services and other stakeholders as appropriately needed.
Communicate and assess needs clearly and precisely to the client and funding organisation within appropriate time frames.

REQUIREMENTS
Approved tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with children and their parents.
Good written and verbal communication with the ability to build rapport with clients and families to ensure that therapy is fun and engaging.
Current Working With Children Check and valid Police Check.
