About the Role

Exciting opportunities now available for Clinicians with acute and/or rehabilitation experience to join St Andrews Ipswich Private Hospital Speech Pathology department.

Working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, the successful Speech Pathologists will be responsible for the assessment and management of a diverse acute and rehabilitation caseload.

Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including on-call and public holidays essential.

Your Skills and Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working as a Speech Pathologist
• Experience in VFSS and/or FEES is highly desirable
• Experience in SPEAK OUT! or LSVT is highly desirable
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and in co-operation with others
• Clinical skills in comprehensive assessment, management and discharge planning
• Good working knowledge of community support services
• Skills in Microsoft Office suite of programs
• Ability to manage a demanding workload, and effectively prioritise tasks

About Our Hospital

St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital is a fully accredited advanced surgical, medical and obstetric hospital situated 5 mins from the Ipswich CBD.

We are a 203-bed acute care hospital committed to providing the highest standard of specialised services, skilled personnel and sophisticated technologies.

We are conveniently located in the medical precinct of Ipswich, adjacent to the CBD with specialist rooms within a 5 minute walk of the hospital. Free car parking is available in the hospital car park.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
