About the Role:
Exciting opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to join our clients organisation. As part of an expanding team of allied health professionals, you will work with our highly diverse range of participants and collaborate with like-minded colleagues, to deliver meaningful behavioural support services in a vibrant and welcoming environment that fosters growth and professional opportunities.
An exciting, newly created role exists for a highly motivated Speech Pathologist to join our team. This is a chance to be part of something exciting, to grow with our organisation, and to be a part of a collaborative, energetic, multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify communication and speech disorders.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve speech, language, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
- Offer guidance and support to clients' families and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress reports.
- Perform all other duties as required.
Selection Criteria:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Speech Pathology.
- Previous experience in Speech Pathology.
- Pre-existing registration with SPA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment as well as autonomously and take ownership of a caseload of participants.
- Hold a current WWCC (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid & CPR.
- Hold a valid Australian driver’s license.
