Our team consists of an Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist & Occupational Therapist. Starting off the business in 2022, our Exercise Physiologist connected with different agencies, aged cares and coordinators to promote what we are all about. Now, we are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Mobile Speech Pathologist to join our team on a contractor basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new grad or experienced allied health professional to apply their knowledge in a fun, challenging and mixed caseload!
The Position
The position will involve the following:
- Travelling to the client's home to complete 1-on-1 or group therapy (mainly western suburbs but might entail North, East or South suburbs too).
- Working primarily with children aged between 3-17 with verbal and communication deficiencies, social pragmatic difficulties, literacy and speech and/or language difficulties.
- Assessing strengths and weaknesses, developing and implementing therapy programs to assist the clients grow and achieve their goals.
- Communicating with key stakeholders and allied health professionals regularly to provide optimal client care, such as Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Support Coordinators etc.
- Writing NDIS and review reports.

About You:
Key Responsibilities
- Building rapport with the child/adult and their families.
- Collaborating with the participant and their families to identify their goals and develop a plan together.
- Providing interactive and evidence-based care to elicit meaningful results!
- Write in-depth reports for the participants to support them during plan reviews.
What You Need
- Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent.
- Working with Children's Check.
- Australian Driver's License and Car.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.
- Current Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Experience working with Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferable.
