We are seeking a Paediatric Speech Pathologist/Therapist.
The Role
Based at Melton Health Hub, it is expected that you will;
- Work within the Integrated Community Health Service in a new NDIS Rapid Access Program (RAP)
- Conduct the initial triage assessments and autism assessments
- Work within a large multidisciplinary team, alongside Paediatricians, Psychologists, OTs, Social Workers, Physios and Allied Health Assistants
- Play an integral part, ensuring our community are gaining faster access to support and drastically reducing a typical 6-8 month waitlist to 6 weeks
- Support families with onward referral to community based and NDIS ECEI partners
- Enable young people and their families to achieve their goals and reach their potential.
Selection Criteria
- Have current membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- Have experience undertaking assessments with paediatric clients and developing individual intervention and program plans based on assessments
- Have experience working with NDIS service system
- Ideally have experience working within an autism assessment space.
