Position: Contracting/Part-time Speech Therapist

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve speech, language, fluency, and communication disorders.
- Provide guidance and support to clients and their families, empowering them to actively participate in therapy sessions and carry over strategies at home.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Applied science (Speech Pathology) or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current member of Speech Pathology Australia
- Prior experience working with children, specifically with additional needs preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of advancements in the field
- Drivers license and own vehicle
- Current Working With Children’s Check
