As a Speech Pathologist you will provide specialist support services to school aged children, young people and adults with a disability, their families and carers. These services are delivered within a person-centred, strengths based approach; identifying the individual's strengths and needs and designing a program of supports as per their individual goals in their NDIS packages.About the role:
- Manage a caseload of people with a disability and their families or carers, who present with communication and/or eating/drinking needs in accordance with best practice guidelines to ensure positive outcomes for participant's
- Assess participant needs and develop, implement, monitor and review NDIS plans for each participant to ensure the participant's assessed needs are being met
- Act as a specialist resource to management on all matters pertaining to the provision of Speech Pathology services in the organisation
- Provide psychological and speech pathology services to school aged children, young people and adults with disabilities, their families and carers
- Collaborate with other clinical disciplines in the development and delivery of therapeutic interventions
- Support the philosophy of person centered practice and engage in collaborative, holistic goal setting
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures and standards impacting on the delivery of services to people with disabilities, including the Disability Inclusion Act 2014

- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- Current NSW Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
