The opportunity:
A great opportunity to join a dynamic public team health team. Northern Health are looking for a Grade 2 Subacute Speech Pathologist to come and join our team.
The position is ongoing full time 80 hours per fortnight with monthly Accrued Day Off.
This is an exciting role that offers you the chance to build and broaden your clinical skills within a supportive environment, with exposure to a diverse caseload and a range of speciality areas. This role is further enhanced with access to resources such as VFSS, FEES and advance AAC devices, along with regular service advancement achieved through participation in quality assurance initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience and good working knowledge of the assessment and management of patients presenting with disorders of communication and swallowing
- Proven ability to supervise staff and students
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships and represent Speech Pathology on internal and external collaborations
- Experience in promoting and participating in quality improvement processes.
