Hide and Speech Allied Health are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and energetic paediatric Speech Pathologist. We have an exciting opportunity for anEarly Career or senior speech pathologist to join us in our private practice. We are also looking for New GraduateSpeech Pathologists to join our 2025 Graduate Program.We can’t wait for you to join our team!
This is clinic-based position that will be either located in Surrey Hills or Caulfield South. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to choose their preferred work location or a combination of both throughout the week. There will be some travel required to local schools, however, no in-home sessions will be conducted.
About Us
Hide and Speech is a paediatric allied health practice that provides intervention and assessment to children and adolescents with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder. We are a team of Speech Pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, allied health assistants and administrative assistants. Many of our clients require multi-disciplinary intervention, which fosters a supportive and collaborative environment amongst our clinical team. We are passionate about client outcomes, and we pride ourselves on being a welcoming and light-hearted clinic; we strive to deliver a professional and holistic service to all our families.
With our rapidly growing caseload, we are looking to expand our practice to include another Speech Pathologist. Most of our sessions are conducted at the clinic; however, we provide kindergarten and school services if requested.
The role/s:
We are looking for paediatric Speech Pathologists who are interested in a part-time or full-time position, however, this is negotiable. This will be an ongoing permanent role with the flexibility to adjust your hours so that they work for you. Your role includes conducting assessment and intervention on children who present with a developmental delay and autism spectrum disorder. We currently have the following speech pathology positions available:
- Experienced Speech Pathologist
- Early CareerSpeech Pathologist (1-2 years)
- 2025 Speech Pathology Graduate Program
Tasks:
- Meeting with parents or caregivers to conduct initial consultations.
- Liaising with parents or caregivers to establish family-centred goals.
- Liaising with other members of the multidisciplinary team who are involved in the child’s care.
- Designing intervention plans to support children to achieve their goals.
- Providing therapy support at the clinic or in the child’s natural environment.
- Conducting standardised assessments.
- Ensuring written reports, paperwork and progress notes are completed accurately and timely.

Requirements:
- Registration with SPA,
- Working with Children Check,
- National Police Check,
- Own professional insurance and indemnity cover.
- Understanding of autism spectrum disorder and developmental delay.
