About Us: Linguo Talks Speech Pathology is a mobile based (soon to be clinic based) speech therapy service provider committed to providing exceptional care for our clients and families using a child and family-centered approach to communication development. We work mainly with children, however there may be some opportunity to work with adults providing rehabilitative care.
Position: Speech Therapist
Location: Liverpool /Campbelltown
Job Description: As a Speech Therapist at Linguo Talks Speech Pathology, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication disorders. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing personalised treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based intervention to children from ages 2-18. The caseload will encompass early language development and speech sound disorders. You can chose between working 1, 2 or 3 days in the week, with start and end times that are suitable and fit to your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and fluency disorders.
- Develop individualised treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based intervention
- Provide education and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies for continued progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and client progress.
Requirements:
- Master's/Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Speech Pathology Australia membership
- Working with children check
- Own Laptop
- Medicare provider number
- MUST HAVE OWN CAR
