The Speech Pathology Cadet assists in the delivery of services to patients, by undertaking basic duties under the close clinical practice supervision of more experienced Health Practitioners.

About the role
- Perform basic duties under the close clinical practice supervision of more experienced Health Practitioners in the given profession, with the quality of work output closely assessed.
- Work within the scope that is consistent with the level of knowledge and skill development.
- Knowledge and understanding of the clinical care environment.
- Successful completion of prior clinical placements.
- Communication skills that support teamwork and patient outcomes.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of enrolment in a recognised tertiary-level program that results in a Speech Pathology qualification.
