Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is eager to recruit an Speech Pathologist to work in our dynamic, growing and supportive team, to help us deliver exceptional care to our community.

The network boasts newly redeveloped wards and Emergency and Outpatient Departments, with plans for the addition of more brand-new facilities in the near future. About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Speech Pathologist within the Children and Families Service.

The Clinical Lead Paediatric Speech Pathologist is responsible to the Manager for Children and Families Service for operational issues and to the manager for Speech Pathology for professional issues.

The Clinical Lead Paediatric Speech Pathologist will undertake development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of high-quality Speech Pathology services for paediatric clients of the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN).

The Clinical Lead Paediatric Speech Pathologist works in conjunction with other members of the
multi-disciplinary team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors to optimises client functional and health outcomes in this specialty area.

As a highly skilled and competent clinician, the incumbent delivers quality services and provides Clinical Leadership across NALHN paediatric services, providing support and supervision to less experienced staff.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
