As a therapist, your role involves collaborating with individuals from various backgrounds to offer a spectrum of assistance and services to NDIS participants. This includes:
- Providing assistive technology and equipment.
- Facilitating home modifications.
- Conducting assessments for personal support needs, such as personal care.
- Conducting housing assessments for participants in need of Specialist Disability Accommodation.
- Offering transport assistance.
- Providing orientation and mobility training.
- Addressing mental health and well-being.
- Supporting holistic personal planning.
- Delivering tailored interventions to individuals with diverse disabilities in accordance with business requirements.
- Upholding a superior standard of clinical care consistent with the companies values.
- Crafting plans and generating reports essential for NDIS plans.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Full AHPRA registration.
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Profound knowledge of evidence-based practices
- Understanding of person-centered principles.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Comprehensive understanding of the NDIS (training provided).
- Completion of NDIS Workers Orientation Module (Quality, Safety, & You).
- Completion of NDIS Worker Screening check (including a police clearance).
- Possession of a full driving license.
