This role supports the Director of Mission and the Mission Team in embedding UA’s vision for Spiritual Care through the management and guidance of chaplains and Spiritual Care practitioners, and the implementation of strategies and initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and guide chaplains and Spiritual Care practitioners in the delivery and development of Spiritual Care and chaplaincy
- Ensure the safe, person-centered, accountable provision of high level spiritual and pastoral care in response to the emotional, spiritual, and religious needs of residents, families, and staff
- Encourage and develop high levels of teamwork within Spiritual Care and across the organization, participate fully in recruitment processes, and conduct Performance Development Plan Reviews

You have a strong commitment to safe and respectful Spiritual Care, that includes religious, spiritual, and secular care for people from a variety of cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds and experiences.
