About the opportunity:
Seeking a Spunk Engineer experienced in Cyber Security for a long-term contract opportunity with a federal government department. You will deliver engineering and administrative services for security infrastructure tools and platforms.
SFIA Level 5 Responsibilities:
• Plan and drive activities to develop organisational systems integration and build capabilities including automation and continuous integration.
• Identify, evaluate and manage the adoption of tools, techniques and processes to create a robust integration framework. Provide authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of systems integration.
• Leads integration work in line with the agreed system and service design.
• Assess risks and takes preventative action. Measure and monitor applications of standards.
• Contribute to the development of organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for systems integration.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated the following experience:
• Minimum three years’ experience in a Cyber Security field.
• Maintaining SPLUNK infrastructure, or experience managing a similar product.
• Knowledge of log ingestion from hybrid hosting platforms, including Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• The ability to work well and share knowledge within a team and well-developed writing.
• Current NV1 security clearance.
