SalarySupporting Abilities for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) is seeking passionate Male Disability Support Workers to support a participant with MND in Sunbury, 3429.
- Male (Clients preference)
- Experience supporting clients with MND, PEG, NIV highly regarded.
- Must be a sports lover - particularly Cricket and Football. Client wants to talk and watch sport together, so this is a non-negotiable.
- Must be an experienced Support Worker
- High needs personal care
- Native English speaking (due to language barriers)
We are looking for competent, enthusiastic and reliable Support Workers who possess the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our clients. We currently have casual opportunities available for all successful applicants.
- Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain):
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants <18 years of age).
- Valid Australian Driver’s License.
- A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (to transport participants).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Approximately $123).
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum of two doses).
- The right to work in Australia.
