This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to be temporarily appointed to a Level 1-2 position within our department. Offering a huge variety of rotational opportunities through aged care, general surgical, general medical, oncology/haematology, respiratory, cardiology/vascular, ortho-trauma, neurosurgery/trauma, neurology, rehab, and community occupational therapy services, you can guarantee your clinical skill set will be challenged, broadened and enhanced . You will be supported and led by highly experienced and competent Level 3 Occupational Therapists, and our Level 5 Professional Educator. - Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated core competency skills relevant to the facility and the occupational therapy service.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience.
- Computer skills and the capacity to use health information systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice and a commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence.
