Stable Attendant

Country Club Tasmania has an exciting casual opportunity available for an energetic, dynamic and horse loving individual to join our Stables team in a casual position. If you’re looking for a role, where you can work with both people and horses, don’t miss this opportunity!

As an integral part of the stables team you will assist with the maintenance of the health and fitness of horses at Country Club and assist with providing trail rides in serene bush surroundings. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the best Arabian horses in the country.

Our preferred candidate will have:

• Extensive experience in handling and riding horses
• Knowledge of horse care, including health and grooming
• The ability to load horses for transportation
• The ability to conduct trail rides as required
• The ability to maintain gear to a high standard, along with cleanliness and presentation of the stable area and its surrounds
• High assurance for safety of guests and staff at all times
• A passion for providing exceptional customer service
• The ability to work effectively in a small team environment
• A flexible approach to shift work, with the ability to work across the hours of 9am – 3.30pm, seven days a week. This includes regular weekend shifts.
• A manual drivers licence
• The ability to work in a physically demanding position.
