Location: Sutherland Shire (Cronulla/Caringbah/commute distance)
Hybrid, 3 days on-site
Client: Our client is an established Australian Chartered Accountancy firm looking for an ambitious and passionate Graduate Accountant to join and grow with the team!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with clients to provide timely and effective accounting solutions.
- Work alongside a supportive team to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
- Gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Providing accounting support to stakeholders and clients
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Preparing financial statements, tax plans and tax returns
- Communicating complex information in an easy-to-understand way with a range of clients.
Qualifications
- Hold an Australian Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the accounting profession.
- Prior experience in an accounting firm or with Xero is highly desirable
- A positive, hard-working and dedicated attitude.
