What you'll be doing
- Occupational Assessment, screening and vaccination against specified preventable diseases in accordance with NSW Health Policy Directive PD 2018_009
- The role is an autonomous position in regard to the effective day-to day co-ordination of compliance with the vaccination and health screening requirements of NSW Health Policy 2018_009 and the Australian Immunisation Handbook.
- Blood and Body Fluid post exposure management and counselling effected staff – as required
- Current Nursing registration AHPRA and certification as an authorised Nurse Immuniser in NSW as per Ministry of Health and Nurses Registration Board Requirements.
- Relevant experience in similar role with a minimum of 3 years
- Demonstrated knowledge of management of exposures to blood borne pathogens
- Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
- High level of computer skills and data base usage
