Our state-of-the-art Advanced Clinical Trials Centre opened in early 2024 at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and is home to our Cancer Trials Unit (CTU) and is the first of its kind facility in Australia dedicated to bringing novel therapies through clinical trials to the cancer patients of WA.We are now looking for a high performing and passionate Start-Up Lead to join the CTU on a full-time basis.Job DescriptionYour Role in Our FutureThe Start-up Associate is responsible for the transition of successful business development bids into clinical research projects for all Cancer Trial project teams at Linear, through ensuring all successful bids satisfy ethical compliance in Australia. This role also ensures all trials are adequately planned in accordance with all standards and procedures, organised with all external vendors and successfully handed over to the project team.A full list of responsibilities can be found in the however some of your duties will include;
- Conduct pre-start trial meetings to ensure projects are handed over successfully to project teams.
- Maintain strong and positive relationships with external stakeholders including Sponsors/Contract Research Organisations and Vendors.
- Manage trials for ethics compliance by ensuring protocol amendments and ongoing report requirements are met.
- Coordinate start-up document management, including collating all essential documents required to be included in the relevant investigator site files.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Advanced organisational skills with proven ability to work across multiple projects and towards multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and adapt effectively to change.
- High level attention to detail and organisational skills.
